My weekends have lately slipped by very quickly, but I wanted to share this one with you to show you how eclectic it got. On Friday, I got a chance to photograph some yumminess:
and on Saturday I had a chance to meet some bitingly funny and drop dead gorgeous girls thanks to a clothing swap organized by my awesome sister! You might wonder what a clothing swap is? Well, in a nutshell, it is a way to clear out the clothes that languish in the back of the closet and the accessories that gather dust and swap them with someone else’s clothes and accessories to give them new life. Some pieces were more sought after than others, but we all left with something new! My sides have not hurt so much from laughing in a long time. Even the mega parking ticket was worth it!
And the best part? We all got to leave with some new-to-us clothes, shoes and accessories. If that’s not recycling, I don’t know what is. Here’s some of my loot:
The outing would not be complete without a shot of the cutest cat in the world ~ Trotsky. Although he really hid when the fur (and clothes) were flying:
The weekend ended with more sweets, this time made by Ms. Olga herself. If you ask her nicely, she might even share her recipe for these Earl Grey Cupcakes!
So that’s the scoop on my weekend. How was yours?

For a long time there were only your footprints & laughter in our dreams & even from such small things, we knew we could not wait to love you forever

It is such a pleasure to photograph a couple who are on the path toward parenthood. I met Heather and Jon for a maternity session a few days ago and we spent a couple of hours in the beautiful sunshine. We talked about everything from baby names to the little things to take to the hospital for the birth. I am looking forward to meeting their little one next month! May is such a nice month for a baby
