And now we welcome the new year, full of things that have never been.
~ Rainer Maria Rilke
First day of Grade 11 and Grade 7 has come and gone. Started out with rain and sauna-like heat, but now the sun has returned. Still pretty hot, so I’m glad that the littles obliged when I asked to take their first day of school photo before shedding the uniforms for cooler clothes. Little man texted me that his first day of class was ‘amazing’ and that his teacher is 6 foot 6″ tall. Miss L, on the other hand, had a few hiccups with her time-table, including an unplanned first period spare, which she had to fix with guidance. Remember having to line up to wait to fix your timetable with guidance? I still do. It’s still not perfect, but better than before. On a side note, where does the time go? Can’t believe that she’s only got a year of high school left. Wow.
