There are perhaps no days of our childhood we lived so fully as those we spent with a favorite book.
~ Marcel Proust
The plans for the weekend now include a little reading. I haven’t read a Scarpetta novel in a while, so I thought I’d give it a go. I remember how riveted I was each time I read Patricia Cornwell’s books. A forensic pathologist and a lawyer all in one? And always being targeted by the mysterious Brooks Temple Gault? I grew away from the books for quite a few years, but what’s a nice summer hammock read if not a mystery?
Hope you have a great weekend planned!
