I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.
The fall slipped between my fingers in a blur. I haven’t stopped taking photos, quite the opposite, but somehow there didn’t seem to be enough hours in the day to post them. So, a restart for the New Year is in order. I will dip back and share some of the fall moments of 2015, especially my lovely time in Greece, but onward. Hope your 2016 has gotten off to a lovely start and you are excited for the year before us.
Deciding today that reality is easier if you can put it in a box & ignore that it keeps slipping out & messing everything up.
You know those days that are long and rainy and seem to be filled with mis-steps? This was one of them. We were late for a hair appointment, I swear I saw the flash of a red light camera go off…so let’s just file this one away and start fresh all over again.
Without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community.

It was my first time wandering the streets of Wellesley during their annual and 40th Apple Butter and Cheese Festival. Neat to see people of all ages come together and awesome that the money raised during the day goes back to the community. The pancake breakfast was huge! Proud of E and Miss L for helping out. Gorgeous day for it too!
Everyone can identify with a fragrant garden, with beauty of sunset, with the quiet of nature, with a warm and cozy cottage.
Don’t you love spending time in lovingly curated homes? After a long week at home and work, we came up to help out at the Apple Butter and Cheese Festival in Wellesley, and got to spend a couple of nights at my sister and brother-in-law’s century home. I’m always thrilled to wander their property and gardens. Such beauty for the eyes and lens.
Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.
I thought the rose bush did not survive last year’s brutal winter, but here it is, blooming away at the end of the summer season. Love that it made it.
