I hope that you have had a chance to reconnect with family and friends, rest, make merry and enjoy the lovely days of the season. For me, December days flew by in such a hurry and I was looking for a few more hours everyday, just to finish up one more thing! Finally, I also got a chance to enjoy the warmth of my family and relax.
I spent one of my days off with some of my very cool in-laws ~ photographing everyone against an unexpectedly snowy backdrop. We shared a bunch of laughs and some climbing escapades in their lovely back yard. Here are some of the shots from the day:

…and then there were these gorgeous little kids! They were having a wee nap when I arrived, but before the light left for good, we got some shots in.

“When I grow up, I want to remember that I always wanted to be about a thousand different things & one lifetime didn’t seem nearly enough. When I grow up, I hope it’s at the very end when it doesn’t matter anymore anyway”
~ Storypeople

We live through our children. Entering the double digits is probably harder for me than it is for her. Closer to a teen than a baby…

…and then there is hamming it up!
